Now available from Plastic Machinery Sales UK Ltd, are injection moulding machines from the Hong Kong-based manufacturer Topfine Precision Machinery Co Ltd. which has sold more than 20,000 machines since it was formed some 26 years ago. The company first entered the European market in 1989 and has sold more than 300 machines in Scandinavia, Germany, Spain and Portugal.
The A-Series machines, which comprise nine units with locking forces ranging from 100 to 2,800kN and shot weights from 10 to 1,290gm, feature a two-platen design with direct hydraulic clamping on each tie-bar. This arrangement gives a compact machine with an even locking force distribution and a generous open stroke. Moreover, the open area these machines offer below the mould space allows moulded products to be transported away from the machine. The two-platen design also allows a large-area ejector plate to be incorporated for moulds requiring multiple ejection points. For clean room operation, the hydraulic ejector can be replaced by a servo motor system. The injection unit has been designed to ensure a high plasticising capacity and, as standard, the machines are designed for processing normal thermoplastic materials. However, they can be supplied for processing UPVC, thermosets, LSRs and elastomers. A PC-based control with high-speed bus ensures that all parameters are closely monitored and, if necessary, corrected within close limits. Established data can be stored and retrieved, and both management and service reports can be generated.
The 2000.CE-Series machines comprise nine units with locking forces from 500 to 5,500kN and shot weights from 64 to 2,615gm. With these machines, locking is based on a five-point double-toggle locking system and the moving platen is supported by a sliding shoe running on hardened ways on the machine base.
